Boston City Hall Elopement

On a fall day at Boston City Hall, I photographed S & T as they made their marriage official in the States. The 15 minute meeting and ceremony in the City Clerk’s office was actually quite lovely! Its an intimate space, so if you are getting married there know that more than 2 or 3 guests will be very cozy. Scroll to see some photos from the brief ceremony in the office.

Afterwards we took portraits on the plaza around City Hall. If you know this building, it is huge and concrete and not exactly romantic. The couple wanted a more natural look to their images, so I found an avenue nearby of yellow-turning leaves and Boston brick. I would say that finding even a bit of nature in the city is one of my photography specialties.

At the end of our portrait session, the couple wanted to play around with some yoga poses in wedding attire. Yoga photography is another specialty of mine so it was a pleasure.
