It started raining early in the afternoon, but I was optimistic by the damp smell of Spring and a forecasted high climbing just over 50 degrees.
Erika was still game for her engagement shoot with Ryan. We were set to meet two hours before dusk at Larz Anderson Park, and I made a quick call to a local greenhouse as a second location so we could have a little dose of spring for these late March photos.
Myrtle the dog joined us for the shoot. She didn’t seem to mind the cool air and the rain. I didn’t either. It made for a lovely and soft palette, the muted pastels of early spring.
Anyways, you now the old adage, if it rains on your engagement session, no rain on your wedding day. I’m almost certain I heard that somewhere. Congrats Erika & Ryan!
